If you are a taste tester, you won't need to transition your dog :)

While some dogs don’t require a transition, most take 5 to 7 days

• Days 1-2, serve 25% of the whole portion size of the new food mixed with 75% old food
• Days 3-5, serve 50% of the new food mixed with 50% of the old food
• Days 6-7, serve 75% of the new food mixed with 25% of the old food
• Day 8, serve 100% of the new food

Some dogs, including those with more sensitive stomachs, may experience normal, mild symptoms of loose stools or gas. We consider this a form of “detox” from their old diet.

This isn’t unusual and is not cause for concern. If the symptoms persist, we advise you scale back the percentage of food to your dog's old food and transition at a slower pace.
